Problem
As Nucliex grew, we upgraded our technology by shifting our platform to the cloud. This move brought extra security risks with it, and that’s when we felt the need to have a formal cybersecurity strategy. We wanted to make sure that our information and our clients' data is secure on the cloud. But at the core, we felt that there were some important concerns that needed to be addressed from the cybersecurity & compliance perspective.
Solution

Another thing that impressed me was the kickoff meeting, where the project manager presented one of the most organized processes I’ve ever seen.
The whole project was led effectively, starting from everyone being on time, ready with a specific agenda & executing the work plan according to the needs of Nucleix. Everyone was readily available & pleasant all the while.
- Penetration Testing: We had never conducted a PT before. There was a foggy feeling about what we knew and what we didn’t know without conducting a PT on our system. For us, the aim of conducting a PT was to know the full nine yards when it comes to securing our critical information. The tester immediately gave us decisive feedback on what we were missing by revealing system vulnerabilities & implementing essential changes.
- Cloud Security Assessment: Right away, the initial discussion along with the review process itself got us thinking about perspectives of how we can secure our cloud environment.
- ISO 27001 Gap Analysis: The gap analysis findings were very helpful. We were able to transform the gaps into action items with the help of GRSee Consulting vCISO.
